THE PRACTICE BEHIND THE EDITION
Frame Seventeen is presented as a fictional independent photographic practice for this showroom. Its work studies late streets, public thresholds, weather, labor, waiting, and the private lives suggested by city light.
The camera never claims to explain the people it encounters. It records distance, atmosphere, structure, and the dignity of an unfinished story.
One camera. Available light. No staged figures. Every final image is held to the same restrained monochrome edit, archival paper specification, numbered-edition logic, and documented proofing standard.
This showroom does not invent awards, reviews, collectors, or exhibition history. Those records are deliberately reserved for verified material supplied by a future owner.
The operating system already includes the rooms needed to manage them honestly.
PROVENANCE FROM NEGATIVE TO WALL
Catalog identity, capture note, approved crop, process, paper, and edition ceiling lock before release.
Every numbered print is assigned once, with proof status, print date, condition, and availability preserved.
A matching certificate carries the work code, edition number, dimensions, process, signature state, and verification code.
Reservations, acquisitions, loans, returns, condition checks, and approved transfers form a readable chain.
